Key properties

For cookery, pots and utensils:

Dissolve 150-200g with supplied scoop for every 10 liters, depending on the soil level, in hot water
(65-75ºC). Soak for 30-40 minutes. For heavy tannin deposits, soak utensils overnight. Rinse items
thoroughly after destaining.

For plastic ware:
Dissolve 40-60g with supplied scoop for every 10 liters, depending on the soil level, in hot water (65ºC).
Soak for 20-30 minutes. Rinse items thoroughly after destaining.

For tea and coffee urns:
Dissolve 120-150g with supplied scoop for every 10 liters, depending on the soil level, in hot water
(60-80ºC). Soak for 30 minutes. All items soaked in destainer powder MUST be rewashed before returning them to service.

YJ-385 - PRE-soak & Destainer powder

A soluble free flowing chlorinated powder developed for quick and safe removal of tannin stains from crockery, plastics, stainless steel tea urns, coffee pots and vending machines. It also helps in removing water spotting from cutlery and marks on most plastic chopping boards.
This product should usually be sited in the stillroom or in an area where destaining is done.
